I take a holistic approach to enabling innovation. I will of course help you build empathy for the customers of your desired innovations, brainstorm solutions, and select the gold from among the generated ideas. But perhaps more importantly, I can help you build the team dynamics that will allow everyone on the team to embrace conflict, ambiguity and change – three things that are absolutely necessary for innovation to occur and that most people naturally struggle with.
My approach is research-based, using the most recent developments in innovation science, and applying my many years of experience driving innovation for B2B and B2C products.
I spent more than 20 years in high-tech R&D at Apple and Microsoft. As a software engineer, engineering manager, product manager, and product management leader, my job was to deliver innovative products for consumers and businesses. I delivered half a dozen successful “1.0” products in my career, one of the hardest things to do in high-tech. Plus many dozens of “dot” releases (minor changes) and significant releases (2.0, 3.0…). Each time adding to my understanding of and toolbox for innovating successfully.
I am endlessly curious about what it takes to innovate and have read dozens of books and articles on the subject. I consider my self an expert on delivering innovation. My passion is to use this knowledge and experience to help others innovate; be it for themselves, their users, or their stakeholders.
